This year $2,000 in cash and prizes! First Place Duck received $1,000 Cash!! Lots of cash and prizes and will be given away to the first ducks who waddle across the finish line.

We are all looking forward to Lake Gregory's annual Rubber Ducky Derby in 2012. Last years duck derby was so successful all 2,000 duck were adopted but never fear we have a whole new flock flying in for this years competition. This years festivities will be held on April 7th the Saturday before Easter.

Egg Hunt 11:30

The Egg hunt was a big success with roughly over 500 kids turned out to find over 2,500 eggs. This year will be even bigger and better. Thank you Boys and Girls Club, and all who participated last year.

Race Starts 1pm

At 1pm Lake Gregory Park Rangers will release all the rubber ducky's down the 320 foot winding water slide. The ducks will plunge into the icy cold lake. Because of their training and diligence they will navigate their way through the spill way.Then the competition gets tuff as they fight their way to be the first to reach the finish line. To buy tickets look for businesses that have a big yellow duck out front or this year you can buy on line.

Nancy from North Shore Inn is giving Rick Arnold his $500 cash. He is holding his winning duck named "Chocodile". Rick lives in the High Dessert and works for the Hostess Company. He adopted 4 ducks and named them after Hostess products.
